Gorilla Basketball League
Gorilla Basketball is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Lewiston, Maine, dedicated to expanding access to higher education through elite basketball development. Since 2012, we have helped more than 40 student-athletes earn college basketball scholarships- generating an estimated $8 million in scholarship funding and reducing financial barriers for families.
Founded by Head Coach Tyc Snow, a former NCAA Division I and NBA G League player, Gorilla Basketball was built on the belief that basketball can open doors far beyond the court. Coach Snow’s own journey to college was made possible through an athletic scholarship, shaping the mission of using sport as a pathway to education and long-term success.
Through elite, year-round training and national competition on the NXT Pro PUMA Circuit, Gorilla Basketball develops disciplined, confident athletes while providing direct exposure to college coaches and recruiters. Today, we serve 100 youth athletes across 10 competitive boys and girls teams- creating real opportunities that turn talent into education and education into brighter futures.
